It is made of cast iron. It has been hand painted in a shabby white color.

OVERALL MEASUREMENTS -

Approximately 9 inches from the top of the sun to the bottom of the ring (4" ring). The sun itself measures 4.75 inches in diameter.
DIAMETER OF RING- Approximately 4 inches.

** The cast iron 4-inch ring is rounded. The 6-inch ring is made of steel flat bar, so the edges are squared off.
